Are You..........

a Liver or a Googler? I'm not sure that Googler is even a real word but I'm going with it until I am corrected. Maybe it's Googlista? We'll ponder that later....much later! I think I am a little of both. There are days I like to get out into Life and live ever minute of it and then there are days I just want to stay in my PJ's and Google it. Did you know you can spend hours in Portland or LA or Sidney or London and never even get dressed?! Of course you did.....it's through the Blog World, isn't it? I can't believe how many fabulous Blogs there are out there. You can sit on someone's back patio chatting with them and then they can take you around to their hangouts and show you parts of their town that you never would have found on your own. AND you don't even have to worry about whether you have on clean underwear! So, so amazing...and fun...and inexpensive! Although, some of my Blog visits have resulted in me SHOPPING as they entice me with all their worldly goods and classes! SIGH.....I guess we could ask if they would just GIVE us something, but that does seem a little unfair....after all their great hospitality! So I would love to hear where you like to "travel" to when you have one of those days when you just don't want to get out of those Jammies! I am going to try to link all my favorites to this Blog if I can get through the techie part! Oh, and as a footnote....there are times when I am a Masterpiece Theaterer (Pride and Prejudice Swooner)....or Bridget Jones Diaryer....or, well you get the drift. I LOVE Colin Firth! LOL.... Hugs and wishes for a happy day, however you want to spend it!

There's A Birthday In The House!

Our daughter's Birthday is today and I created this card and gift "wrap" for her using the Cosmo Cricket Upcycle Paperline. Love it and wish I could find some more as I only have a couple of sheets left. On the card insert, I wrote sweet sentiments and gave her a coupon for 18 years of FREE Babysitting...hehehehe. They are expecting child #2 in about 5 weeks! In the gift "wrap" box will go several small items we've gotten for her.

The envelope is a new one I just designed. It's my Chubby envelope which required no explanation, I'm sure!

Sorry for the mediocre pics....I need a new camera! Have a fun day! Hugs!

OH NO SHE DIDN'T?!!!

Yes, that is our Treasure Board located in a hallway in our home. It was starting to reach out and touch you as you walked by!

OH YES SHE DID!!!

I cleaned that board off and SLAMMED all our precious memories into the book except for a few badges. I am pondering something clever to do with them..time will tell! I know they are called Smash Books today, but our Generation called them Slam Books. We would not only slam paper things in them....we would write things in them that slammed other people! Not very nice, but very scandalous in our teenage years! Teachers were always taking them away from us as we would write things about them in there, too! Good clean fun compared to today! I used my wonky tabs I have on Etsy to divide up the sections and, yes, used them upside down, too! The cover is my Easy Journaling lines printed on a full sheet of paper. Why not have some fun, eh?! Still plenty of room left to doodle and diddle and jot down memories, but it is rather fat, like the other members of our household! Now we can freely walk down that hallway without getting accosted by playbills, pics, cards and ticket stubs! I had a real chuckle as I found the invites to our niece's graduation from high school and just today in the mail we received the invitation to her graduation from college! I guess it's been awhile since I cleared out some of the treasured memories!

Have a brilliant and fun day, where ever you be!

Hugs,
Kit

Little Purses for Little People

File Me and Large Tag Mini

Here are the latest Projects on my You Tube vids....File Me and the Large Tag Mini. Easy and fun! The File Me can be used as a mini album on it's own, but I am adding it inside my travel journal mini to make a space for more pictures.

The Large Tag Mini is perfect for me......now I can keep all my tags together and sitting on a bookshelf instead of spread all over the place! Makes me feel much more organized.....the key word is FEEL as I am not at all organized in real life! LOL!

Hope everyone had a Blessed Easter and catch me up with yourselves when you can!
Hugs, Kit

Latest Graphic 45 Mini Album Journal Old Curiosity Shoppe!

Sorry I have been silent......have had dental problems and hubby had Kidney Stones and it's just been a couple of those weeks! Things are better and I finally had a chance to upload a video today so wanted to get some non-moving photos on my Blog in case some of you get sea sick from too much video stimulation! This album has tons of pages so here are just a few of my favorites. The Diamond pocket, journaling tags and the Days of the Week round journaling cards and pocket are now on my Etsy Shop (Paperkitz) as digital downloads if anyone wants to try some. Very inexpensive...just enough to help me buy more paper and ink and pay my Etsy and PayPal fees! We all need that, don't we?! Here you go.....

If you haven't tried this paper yet, you need to! So unusual and just pure FUN to play with! Let me know what you think and if you've tried it, please and thank you! Check out my latest video to see previews of upcoming attractions, too! Be Blessed, my friends! Hugs, Kit

A QUESTION FOR BLOGGING PROS.....

I've noticed on some Blogs there is a section that shows all the other Blogs you have subscribed to and it shows the newest post from those Blogs. How do you do that? It takes me forever to find all the Blogs I want to visit each day, especially when there is a new post. Right now, I never know when you have posted something new unless I actually go to the Blog. HELP, Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese! And thank you! Kit

October Afternoon Sasparilla Baby Boy Album

Here is an album I just finished and mailed off to one of my best friends daughter in celebration of her new baby boy. If you would like to see all the pages, it is on my You Tube. Paperkitz is my Channel. A special little boy that arrived healthy and happy due to lots of prayers and love...Welcome to our World, Colton!!!

Girlfriend Card

One of my Galfriends from High School is having a birthday so here is a card I made her using images I purchased from Lisas Altered Art on Etsy. My camera did not pick up the colors like I would have loved....but you get the idea...I hope! I LOVE the images I received from this Etsy Seller. I used her images in my small boxes if you saw those. The paper is from Graphic 45. I actually printed these images twice and then cut out some of the words and used Dimensionals to pop them up. Also, used "jealous green" as the base for the card...hehehehe... Hope it makes her smile!

Thank You, Sarah!

What an honor to see that Sarah from Plain and Fancy Papercrafts (http://plainandfancypapercrafts.blogspot.com/) has awarded me with this Liebster Blog award. Thank you, Sarah.......I love this!

The Liebster Award takes it's name from the German word
meaning Beloved, Dearest or Favorite.

It is given to bloggers who have a small following - under 200 followers.

As part of the tradition it is passed along to 5 bloggers that have
motivated and inspired.
To accept the award you must:
1. Link back to the person who gave it to you and thank them
2. Post the award to your blog
3. Give the award to 5 bloggers with less than 200 followers
that you appreciate and value.
4. Leave a comment on the 5 blogs to let them know that they have been offered this award.

This is the hard part choosing only 5 so I am going to work on that now and will be back to post my Top Five! Being techie challenged....this may take awhile....It took me an hour to figure out how to get the Liebster Award Button on here! Sigh.....

Thank you, again, Sarah!

HERE ARE MY FIVE!!
Mary at Tincantart.blogspot.com
Patty at Calicostudio.blogspot.com
Sonja at Artfrommysoul.wordpress.com
Michelle at Thepaperaddiction.blogspot.com

Teeny Tiny Inchie Boxes

I have been having more fun making these stacking triple inchie boxes! I call them Wally's Triple Inchie Boxes due to the family joke about Wally wrapping my Christmas presents in several boxes....inside each other. A small piece of jewelry looks like a small sports car by the time he is done wrapping and gets it under the tree! I am uploading the video on You Tube that gives the dimensions and shows how to cut all three of these boxes, including lids and accordion fold out strips to play with these yourselves! The video will also show you how to make the raggedy edge flowers and leaves and give you ideas for embellishing. All from only 1 sheet of 12 x 12 double sided paper! The photos shows them opened, then closed and then stacked inside each other. Makes a neat little swap or RAK project. Let me know what you think and if you are going to try them...I'd love to see yours! Hugs!
